St. Martin's Island is a small island in the northeast part of the Bay of Bengal, about 9 km south of the tip of the Cox's Bazar-Teknaf peninsula, and forming the southernmost part of Bangladesh. It is the only coral island in Bangladesh. It is about 8 km west of the northwest coast of Myanmar at the mouth of the Naf River. Because of founding many coconuts  the local name of this Island is Coconut Island(Narikel Jinjira in Bengali). There is also an adjoined island called Chhera Island(Chhera Dip in Bengali). St. Martin's Island has become a vary popular tourist spot of Bangladesh. Tourists can book their trip either from Chittagong or from Cox's Bazar.This island is a great place for the tourists who are truly interested in escaping the holds of a modern world. The natural beauty around  the island can attract anyone easily. .Mainly this island is very famous for coral reef. the main attraction of this island is the coral beach. There are 66 spices of coral in Saint Martin’s island.
